Worked as postdoctoral fellow at the Molecular and Cell Biology Department, University of Connecticut and at the Institute for Computational Bio medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, USA. Research areas include development of computer program and algorithms for genome analysis and applications of machine-learning methods to Big Data of molecular biology. Main research focus is DNA secondary structures, yet uncharacterized layer of genome annotation, and their role in genome functioning
